Just imagine, that you are in a beach full of sand, one particle of sand has mass, very less but nonetheless it does have mass. And mass exerts gravity, so if take the sand of the whole beach and form a big ball, say, like the moon, now that ball exerts gravity and its combined gravity is enough to move oceans, tides and everything. The same way, our thoughts too have mass, one person's thought is like one particle of sand. So just imagine if all people have the same thought in their minds, what can happen.
This is not some
story or some false theory. This has been proved and there's a particular branch of science which deals with such things as thoughts, intutions and the human mind, that branch is known as Noetic Science. The human mind if capable of infinite things, it may seem impossible to believe but that does bot change the fact that it actually is. The noetic theory states that the mind is capable of influencing matter. Yes. Without being in direct contact with our environment our mind is capable of affecting work or events and even doing work in the physical world. Now you may think that how can the mind affect our physical surroundings without being able to touch them, move them, but this notion changes when you believe that thought, which is an entity of the mind, has mass. Consider a single thought, a noble thought such as a prayer, now how do you think are prayers answered? It is based on the same principle of our mind affecting the outer environment. Lets take an example, suppose you have a prayer, you are praying that someone near or dear to you is in the hospital (god forbid it happens) and you are praying for that person to heal fast, now if you tell that prayer to many people and tell them all to pray for that person to heal fast, then I can assure you that those prayers will be effective and that person is sure to have got better maybe very little, but still he would have. Now if you had just prayed for that person yourself the results would have been slow. Why? Because when the same thought is thought by many people it becomes just like that ball of thoughts which have more mass than that single mass and exert gravity and thus are capable of affecting the outer world around us. the same can also be said of superstitions, when many people together think of something like suppose, breaking a mirror will bring you seven years of bad luck, that particular thought actually has mass, extremely little nevertheless it has and so if many people have that same thought it form like a ball of mass which has more mass and thus the superstition actually comes true, in the same way, if many people stop believing in it then it doesn't at all. The same can be said of our intuition, many a times you must have wondered how your intuition is right, that too has the same principle of thoughts having mass. Now if our thoughts have mass, and if our mind is capable of affecting the outer environment, does that mean that our soul too has mass?
Whether our souls have mass or not, it hasn't been proven yet by noetics so I ll leave it to you whether to believe it or not, as the saying goes, its all in the mind.
